Ford is preparing some noteworthy updates for the 2025 Bronco lineup with the launch of Job 2 production, scheduled for September. These changes affect key trims like Big Bend, Badlands, and the Bronco Raptor, reshaping standard equipment and offering more flexibility for buyers. Let’s break down what’s coming.

Mid Package No Longer Standard on Big Bend & Badlands
As of Job 2, Ford is removing the Mid Package as standard content from both the Big Bend and Badlands trims. In its place, Ford will reintroduce these equipment groups:
221A for Big Bend
331A for Badlands
This change allows buyers more customization while also lowering the entry price for each trim.
Price Reduction: MSRP Drops
With the Mid Package becoming optional, Ford is lowering the MSRP:
Big Bend base price will drop by $1,540
Badlands base price will drop by $1,675
That’s the exact cost of the Mid Package if you choose to add it back:
Big Bend: Add Mid Package by choosing 222A
Badlands: Add Mid Package by choosing 332A
What’s in the Mid Package?
If you decide to opt for the Mid Package, here’s what you’ll get across both trims:
-Intelligent Access with 2-door unlock/lock
-Push-button start (already standard)
-Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control
-Front row heated seats
-Illuminated sliding visors with vanity mirrors (driver & passenger)
-110V power outlet (rear console)
-Remote start system (for automatic transmission)
-Rear parking sensors
-Ford Co-Pilot360® adds: Lane-Keeping System, BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert
-Connected Navigation with a 1-year subscription
Note: Badlands' Mid Package is priced $135 higher which includes the auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Bronco Raptor: New Tech Option
A small but intriguing change is coming to the Bronco Raptor. Job 2 adds a new optional feature:
Full Display Rearview Mirror – $545
While Ford hasn't released full details, this is expected to function like a digital rearview mirror with a built-in rear camera display, offering a clear view behind even with obstructions in the cabin.
Final Thoughts
Ford’s Job 2 updates for the 2025 Bronco are all about giving buyers more control. If you want a more budget-friendly version of the Big Bend or Badlands, you can now skip the Mid Package. But if you want those comfort and tech features, you can still add them back easily.
If you have an order in for the Big Bend or Badlands and want the Mid Package, you don't need to do anything. But if would like the remove the Mid Package, ask your dealer to switch your equipment group from 222A to 221A for the Big Bend and from 322A to 321A for the Badlands.
And for Raptor fans, that new digital mirror could be a handy addition for off-roading or urban driving. This option should be available to add to your order after July 7th.
Production starts in September, so now is a good time to start planning your order strategy based on these changes.
