2026 Ford F-150 Lightning: New STX Off-Road

Ford has just revealed exciting news for the 2026 F-150 Lightning. Listening to customer demand, Ford is replacing the XLT trim with an all-new STX Off-Road trim—designed specifically for those who want their Lightning to be as capable on the trails as it is on the pavement.
Power and Range
Unlike the outgoing XLT, the new STX Off-Road will come standard with the extended-range battery, delivering an estimated 290 miles of range, along with 536 horsepower and 775 lb.-ft. of torque. That combination ensures plenty of performance whether you’re towing, commuting, or exploring off the beaten path.
Off-Road DNA
Ford is bringing elements from its gas-powered F-150 Tremor into the Lightning lineup. The STX Off-Road trim will feature:
Electronic-locking rear differential for enhanced traction
Tremor-inspired running boards
Unique wheels with all-terrain tires
New grille design highlighted with a Grabber Blue accent running across the middle
Signature lighting, similar to what we’ve seen on the XLT
This blend of off-road hardware and design cues gives the STX a rugged look and serious trail capability.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the STX Off-Road blends durability with style.
Cloth seats with Grabber Blue embroidery and stitching
Heated front seats (a feature already standard on the Pro trim)
Heated steering wheel
It’s a comfortable yet practical interior built for both daily use and weekend adventures.

Pricing and Availability
The 2026 Ford F-150 Lightning STX Off-Road will start at $63,345 (before destination and delivery). Ford expects the first deliveries slated for early 2026. While exact timing for the order guide and order banks hasn’t been released yet, they should open soon.
