Everybody's been looking to get more boost out of their EcoBoost motor and Ford has delivered upgrades for the 2.3L and 2.7L Ecoboost Engines and more recently the Ranger Raptor and Bronco Raptor 3.0L Ecoboost engine has also received the Ford Performance upgrade.
Now Ford has opened it up for the F-150 and the F-150 Raptor as well. If you have a 2022-2023 Ford F-150 Raptor or a 2021-2023 F-150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine you can get a new software calibration by Ford Performance. For the F-150 Raptor you're going to get a torque increase of 54 lb-ft, giving you a new max of 554 lb-ft of torque at 3,250 rpm. Horsepower increases by 26 bringing that to a max of 466 horsepower at 5,500 rpm. If you have a base F-150 with a 3.5L Ecoboost engine your torque increases by 100 lb-ft with a new max torque of 510 lb-ft at 3,500 rpm. Horsepower increases by 55 giving you a maximum of 450 horsepower at 5,250 rpm.
The software calibrations are on sale right now through Ford Performance performanceparts.ford.com and the MSRP is $825 and you can use your FordPass Rewards points towards the calibration. The calibration can be installed by your local dealer and comes with a 3-year 36,000 mile warranty from Ford performance parts.
