As we approach the opening of the order banks for the 2025 Ford Bronco, Bronco owners and enthusiasts are wondering if this will be a refresh year. Generally, Ford will refresh a model every 3 years with a redesign every 6 years. The Ford Bronco which returned with the sixth generation Bronco for the 2021 model year, hasn't seen a refresh yet. It doesn't look like they will see it in the 2025 model year either.Â
Today, Ford announced a new throwback package for the 2025 Ford Bronco. The Free Wheeling Package will be available on the Big Bend trim which is different from the Bronco Sport where it is a standalone trim. The Free Wheeling will include a stripe graphic resembling that of the FreeWheelin from the late 1970 and early 1980 found on the Bronco, F-150, and Econoline Van.
It will also include a silver painted grille with white and red Bronco letters. Two different wheel options, the standard Big Bend will include black painted steel wheels with the Sasquatch Package getting black painted alloy wheels with red painted rims. Ford states that the door handles will be painted body color but the images show they are silver painted like we see in the Bronco Sport Free Wheeling.
On the inside, you will see the retro sunsetter design on the fabric upholstery inserts with vinyl trim seats. Red accents on the instrument panel and grab handles also showcase the theme. There will be 3 options for the roof. Standard Cloth Top, optional Carbonized Gray Molded-in-Color Hard Top and optional Shadow Black Painted Hard Top. The Black Painted Hard Top was not available in the previous year for the Big Bend. We will find out soon if that will be available on all Big Bend or just with the Free Wheeling Edition for 2025 model year.

2025 Ford Bronco order banks should open next week. I will have all the information on what's new and what's changed for the 2025 model year.
