Ford's BlueCruise just got a little bit better with a new enhancement to BlueCruise 1.4. BlueCruise has been out for quite a few years on many of the electric vehicles like the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Ford F-150 Lightning as well as recently added to the Ford F-150, Explorer, and Expedition. Ford is now updating the initial BlueCruise 1.0 to the most current 1.4 giving you more enhancements and a better system to allow for hands-free driving for up to eight times longer than the first version of BlueCruise.

BlueCruise 1.4 brings enhancements like automatically adjusting a vehicle's speed on curves and helping on narrow lanes. Inclement weather like rain and direct sun have affected the capability of BlueCruise and with this update it will significantly help that so that you can go drive for longer periods of time without touching the steering wheel. BlueCruise 1.4 can be found in the 2025 Ford F-150, 2025 Ford, 2025 Lincoln Navigator, and additional vehicles to follow. Those with BlueCruise 1.2 or 1.3 should get updated to BlueCruise 1.4 with a system update in the near future.
