There's a lot of news around Ford's BlueCruise with the introduction of BlueCruise 1.4 last week for many of the 2025 Ford vehicles and available via an update for vehicles with the older BlueCruise versions in the near future. Now Ford has come out with a lower price for BlueCruise for vehicles that have one of the trial plans.
In the current 2024 model year, the vehicles are coming standard with a 3-month trial of BlueCruise. After the trial ends, you can opt to go with a yearly plan for $800 or a monthly plan for $75. In 2025 model year, vehicles will come standard with either a 3-month plan or a 1-year plan, for upper trim models, and they can purchase a one-year plan for $495 or even a lifetime plan for $2,495 at the time of delivery and roll the cost into their payment. Ford does have a plan available for those needing BlueCruise for that family vacation or holiday trip where they know they're going to need to use the BlueCruise for those trips. They can purchase a one month plan of $49.99.
Ford is trying to make BlueCruise available on drivers terms, giving them options of monthly, yearly, or even lifetime plans for Ford’s BlueCruise. Ford is giving customers what they want on their terms, whether it be electric, plug-in hybrid, hybrid, or gas vehicle. When it comes to BlueCruise they are doing the same, making it available to be purchased for one-month, yearly, or lifetime plans. People like choices!
