Ford has made some mid-year adjustments to the Bronco Sport lineup, most notably retiring the Free Wheeling special edition for the remainder of the model year. If you’ve been holding out for a Bronco Sport with that retro-inspired look, unfortunately, it’s no longer available to order.

Free Wheeling Edition Discontinued
Effective immediately, Ford has removed the Free Wheeling edition from the Bronco Sport ordering system. This change includes:
-Removal of all Free Wheeling references from the order guide
-Elimination from the major changes section
-Deletion of all associated wheel and design options
This effectively ends availability of the Free Wheeling edition for the 2025 model year.
New Optional Wheel for Big Bend
Ford is giving customers of the Bronco Sport Big Bend trim a new way to customize their ride. A 17-inch Carbonized Gray aluminum wheel, currently included in the Black Diamond Off-Road Package, will now be available as a standalone option for standard Big Bend models.

Note: This optional wheel cannot be added to vehicles equipped with the Black Appearance Package or the Black Diamond Off-Road Package.
This new option gives Big Bend buyers a rugged and stylish upgrade without requiring them to add a full appearance or off-road package. If you liked the look of the Black Diamond’s wheels but didn’t want the entire package, this is a nice middle ground.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport order banks are currently open and looks like the 2026 order banks may open in the next month. Production for the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport should go through September and possibly into October.
