We are seeing more and more Americans purchasing electric vehicles and needing to charge those electric vehicles at home and realizing that they need to purchase and install a charger which is an extra cost after they take delivery of the vehicle. Ford is helping to relieve that pain point for the customer by providing a free home charger and installation if you purchase a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E, 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning, and even a 2024 Ford E-Transit cargo van between October 1st and January 2nd.
Ford will be providing a Ford Charge Station Pro home charger, which is the 80 amp charger, and the standard installation cost will be covered as well. These chargers are to be delivered by the dealers to their customers at the time of delivery or shipped to them in the mail depending on how the dealer wants to handle it. The dealers have the choice to sign up and have a supply of the chargers at the dealership ready to place in the electric vehicle at time of purchase.
Many people would charge their electric vehicles at home if they had a home charger. Ford is wanting to help with that and provide you a full charge in your vehicle every morning when you leave your house. This offer is for single family homes and not available for those living in living situations that would not allow the installation of the charger. Not only has Ford provided a great home charging solution with this deal but they also have some great public charging options. Thanks to the agreement Ford made with Tesla, Ford EV owners have access to over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers. If you use one of the Electrified America or Tesla Chargers, you can plug and charge. Meaning as long as your credit card is on file in your Fordpass App there is no need to download an app or use your credit card at the charger, you just plug in, charge your vehicle, and you will be billed to the credit card on file with Ford.
With this Ford Power Promise deal going on, it is a great time to look at your local dealer for some good deals on the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E, 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning, and even a 2024 Ford E-Transit cargo van.
